The Market Street Bridge

On our last journey we stopped to visit a photographer friend of mine. We had a blast for 2 days taking pictures in our old stomping grounds. This is the Market Street bridge going from Wilkes-barre to Kingston. It has been years since I had been there and I was thrilled to see some beautiful changes. I wish I lived up there now. The new walking path and park along the river is beautiful and inviting. Who wouldn't want to hang out here? I have heard, since I left, this area has flooded. I hope there was not a lot of damage and no one was hurt.

From Wilmington to Newtown, PA

We left Delaware to visit my sister outside Philly. She had lost power on Saturday (this was Monday) which meant we could not use toilets (no water because she is on a well) so we headed to town to find a public restroom. No point in wasting a trip through beautiful country side. I always grab my camera and I would say it was a good thing. PA has some beautiful barns and I aimed to shoot them. Having the sun set behind one did not hurt. I am so lucky Clark is so supportive of my photography.

A Trip North

The day after Hurricane Irene hit Wilmington DE, we took a ride over to go to dinner. We ate at Joe's Crab Shack along the River and took a walk after dinner. This was the view!
